March 07 - Aspect builds reputation with Travis Perkins

One of the reasons that Aspect has become the trusted contractor partner of so many organisations is its unerring ability to deliver, whatever the challenge. Jobs regularly come along that are far from straightforward but Aspect’s experience and expertise invariably ensure that things go to plan.
Typical of such a testing job was the recent complex clean up of a Travis Perkins outlet where roof sheets required removal while the store continued to trade. With all the stock transferred out of the sales and bathroom area, a team of up to 15 operatives then proceeded to remove all ceilings and internal wall linings; scaffolding was erected to provide a temporary roof for the entire building and fencing and hoarding was set up to allow the depot to carry on trading from other areas. With the ceilings removed to allow access, the roof sheets were then taken out and disposed off securely. Additionally, all the roof steels had to be dismantled, cleaned and bolted back into place. Finally, all the brick walls to the building had to be removed due to contamination from a previous project.
The job was completed on time with no major disruption to the store’s trading and both the client – Ensafe Consultants – and the client’s client – Travis Perkins – were delighted with the quality and efficiency of the Aspect operation.
