Aspect Contracts, one of the UK’s leading asbestos management companies, has launched a new offering aimed at the insurance and loss adjuster market. The Astack ceiling reinstatement service is an extension to the claims management work for asbestos-related claims that Aspect already undertakes for its insurance clients.

Astack allows for the removal of the asbestos-containing material and the reboarding of the ceiling on the same day. The turnkey operation is undertaken by fully licensed field engineers in a single visit with onward disposal to the relevant waste facilities. This eliminates the delays often experienced by householders where they have to wait some days, weeks even, before the builder/plasterer comes in to complete the reinstatement after Aspect has undertaken the removal. During this time, ceilings and loft voids are left safe but still exposed, often with wiring on show and temporary lighting, a generally unsightly and uncomfortable environment for those who have to live with it.
