Aspect appoints new Health, Safety and Training Auditor
Aspect Contracts has announced the appointment of James Collins as the company’s new Health, Safety and Training Auditor. James has extensive industry experience having previously undertaken surveying, analyst and project manager roles and brings with him an excellent understanding of the health, safety and training requirements for teams in the field.
James is responsible for an internal auditing process that is designed to complement the existing external audits carried out by ARCA. It ensures rigorous policing of standards, performance and compliance and is a key element in Aspect’s strategy of continuous improvement.
Commenting on the role, James said: ‘I am relishing the opportunity of working within a fast-growing, dynamic environment and ensuring that our operational quality is maintained and enhanced as we expand.”
In a related move, Aspect has also launched new in-house courses for operatives and supervisors to supplement their basic training; they serve as regular refreshers on legislative requirements and best practice and help clearly define the operational standards expected of field staff.
